Mugwort is the herb burned in traditional moxibustion. A patch cannot reproduce burning moxa, but it can deliver a similar warming sensation through the skin without smoke or heat risk — which is why it sits at the centre of our formula.

Cooling and warming at once

Peppermint and camphor act on cold-sensitive receptors; capsaicin and ginger act on warmth-sensitive ones. The result is the warm-to-cool feeling people describe, and it is why the patch feels different from a simple heat pack.
